Make your mark with felt!
Craft-based designer Kitiya Palaskas is hosting a super fun workshop at First Coat Studios this Friday, 25 May and you’re invited!
Take a breather from our digital world and relive the childhood fun of playing with craft with Kitiya. She’s passionate about celebrating all things handmade and providing opportunities for people to spend time playing with tactile creative pursuits. She’s also interested in encouraging more open dialogue around the feelings-y side of being a creative person, as she feels it’s something that isn’t widely discussed.
In this unique workshop you’ll learn how use Kitiya’s signature felt collaging techniques to create a personal wall hanging featuring empowering messages in fun typography styles. While you cut and paste she’ll lead a conversation about how it feels to be a creative person navigating the industry today. Think of it as craft with a side of self-help!
Snacks and bevvies will be provided. Spaces are limited, so book now before it’s too late. Toowoomba Living readers are invited to use the exclusive code: CRAFTPARTY to receive 10% off your booking.
