Located in the beautiful heritage-listed Toowoomba Railway Station, Inbound offers a cosy, refined atmosphere and simple hearty fare.
The lunch menu is limited to a few sandwich options, salads, tarts, pies, and sausage rolls but the small range just makes it easier to choose.
Take the rare opportunity to triple your bread intake in these carb-averse times with a classic club sandwich ($12) with bacon, egg, pastrami, lettuce, tomato, basil mayo. The basil mayo was a flavour highlight and the sandwich is sprinkled with a generous serve of crispy French fries – a filling lunchtime bargain.
Or try their breakfast bruschetta ($12) – a creamy combo of avocado and Danish feta on toasted rye that’s light and delicious.
And, Toowoomba Dello Mano brownie fans you can stop your search here. Inbound stocks a range of these fudgy treats, so there’s no need to pack up the car for Brisbane next time you have a mega brownie craving.
With super attentive service, a bar snacks menu featuring sticky pork belly ($12) and a cabinet stacked with sweet delights to explore, I’m booking several future trips to Inbound get a taste of everything on offer.
