It’s raining chocolate in Toowoomba.
Hot on the heels of the opening of new local dessert joint The Moose Toowoomba at Walton Stores the famous ‘bald man’ Max Brenner is about to open its doors at Grand Central.
Mark it in your diary: 11am Thursday 19 October.
On opening day Karissa Gesler, Max Brenner’s ultimate chocolate fan who famously promised to exist on a diet of salad unless the bald man came to Toowoomba, will be the guest of honour and open the doors with the legendary Max Brenner chocolate breaking ceremony!
More than 20 kilograms of pure dark, milk and white chocolate will be smashed into indulgent chunks and shared with excited chocolate lovers.
To further celebrate this happy event, there’ll be complimentary classic hot chocolates between 11am-3pm on opening day.
Located in Grand Central’s new restaurant precinct, you’ll be able to find every sweet treat you’ve been craving on the menu, from chocolate pizza to tutti frutti waffles.
Max Brenner General Manager, Yael Kaminski, said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be opening our doors to the chocoholics of Toowoomba for the first time. Toowoomba has been on our radar for a long time now with many requests for a chocolate bar coming through on our social platforms.
“It’s long overdue and Grand Central Shopping Centre will be the perfect home for Max’s delicious chocolate creations. We want to share our unique chocolate culture with as many chocolate-lovers as possible and we hope it’ll be something they remember for a long time to come.”
