If you’ve been downtown Toowoomba lately you will have noticed construction has been full steam ahead on our newest rooftop bar, atop the old Westpac bank building.
This new venue is the talk of the town and now it’s been announced that it’s expected to open this coming Spring.
The owner and brains behind the operation is long-standing Toowoomba publican Phil Coorey. He’s been hard at work giving us events galore at The Spotted Cow and Blank Space, and it’s looking like this new venue is going to be just as exciting.
“We’ve taken inspiration from leading restaurants and bars in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and wanted to create an all-encapsulating experience for guests, from the branding through to the venue entry and through to the menu,” Mr Coorey said.
“The hospitality industry has transformed in recent times and we are really excited to be delivering an experience that complements the growing dining and nightlife industry in Toowoomba,” he added.
Passers by can now start to get a picture of the exterior of the restaurant and bar, with visible recent new additions to the venue including exterior glass panel walls and the frame for the retractable weather-sensitive ceiling.
“We are looking forward to beginning our launch campaign in the coming months, in conjunction with local marketing agency Round Square Marketing,” said Mr Coorey.
“We will be announcing the much anticipated name of the venue during the campaign, which will give Toowoomba an idea of what to expect of the venue’s fit out and offering.”
The conclusion of the rooftop bar’s launch campaign will include both an exclusive VIP and public launch event. Further details around the venue’s opening events will be released soon.
