TheGRID is kicking off 2016 right with two shows that will bring high energy funk, soul and rock to Toowoomba.
Seven-piece indie band The Natural Culture breezes into town on Thursday 21 January to deliver their message of unity through music. With a strong belief in community and diversity, The Natural Culture aims to excite their audiences and inspire through an enjoyable, high-energy performance.
Taking their sound cues from legends like Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Same Cooke and The Cat Empire, The Natural Culture is touring off the back of a recent EP release A Wordly Dance.
The music continues on Saturday 23 January with pop and rock from Eliza & the Delusionals. Lead by engaging front woman Eliza Katt they’ll be supported by local female-led acts The Astronaut Headdress and Something, Something Explosion, in a night that’s shaping up to be Toowoomba’s own She Who Rocks show.
Both shows are all ages. If you have ID you can hang at the cash bar. Entry is $10, doors open at 8pm, music starts at 8:30pm.
