From 7am to 12pm stock up on your fresh, local produce at the Toowoomba Farmers’ Market. At the Toowoomba Showgrounds, gold coin donation for entry.
ABC Family Day – Saturday 31 October
The ABC is in town and they’re hosting some family fun on the lawn of the Empire Theatre. The day will feature outside broadcasts, gardening workshops with Costa and the chance to meet Jimmy Giggle and Macca. Starts at the early time of 6am and runs through to 12pm.
Waterworld Toowoomba – Saturday 31 October-Sunday 1 November
The first of two weekends, the Waterworld Toowoomba event brings all the splashy fun to the Toowoomba Showgrounds. $20 will get you a three hour session to zorb, slide and splash all you like, although sadly, only under 16s are allowed on the slides…

Brisbane Zombie Walk – Sunday 1 November
