Grand Central have been offering educational and inspiring Live Your Best Life workshops. This month it’s the kids’ turn: with fun, mindful workshops focused on healthy living for your children.
Each weekend is a different workshop – from terrariums to tassels there’s something for everyone. If you can’t make the workshops there’s a playspace set up until 26 February. No bookings required for children’s workshops, just show up and enjoy.
Superbowl at the Spotted Cow or Tapestry Bar – Monday 6 February

Grand Central Style Sessions with Carolyn Taylor-Smith – Thursday 9 February to Sunday 19 March
Grand Central are offering one-on-one 60 minute styling sessions with renowned fashion-stylist Carolyn Taylor-Smith for a limited time only.
For just $50, you will receive one full hour styling consultation, PLUS a $50 Grand Central Gift Card to help get you started on a new or refreshed wardrobe.
The service is only offered on Thursday, Saturday and Sundays at selected times between 9 February and 19 March; and will be held in the new Stylist Hub in the Retail galleria, level 2 alcove, near H&M.
Hampton Long Lunch – Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 February
Have the ultimate paddock to plate experience with the Hampton Long Lunch. Choose either Saturday or Sunday for your five course meal with matched wines. You’ll visit three farms and learn what goes into their food production. Cost is $150 per person, visit the Hampton Festival website to book.
Valentine’s Dinner at Café Valetta – Tuesday 14 February
It ain’t love if you ain’t eating together. Café Valetta has a super looking menu for two. This three course meal includes a glass of beer or champagne and options like dukkah crusted Atlantic salmon with parsnip puree and desserts like red velvet cake with white chocolate nest and raspberry gelato. $85 per person, bookings required.
Beer and Bubs at Tapestry Bar – Monday 20 February
This educational session is about preparing the boys for birth and learning about childcare. Great for first time dads and fellas looking for a refresher about the birth process. $25, book online.
Bernard Fanning and Kasey Chambers – Empire Theatre – Friday 24 February
These two Aussie legends have joined forces for a stage show not to forget. Tickets are $89.90; book at the Empire Theatre’s website.
The Graduate at USQ Arts Theatre – Friday 24 February
USQ’s Friday at the Flicks series brings us The Graduate, the classic story of cougar seduction. Tickets are $15.50 (it’s cheaper if you are a member or student) and include some post show drinks and nibbles. Starts at 6.30pm.
Toowoomba Casino Night – Saturday 25 February
Get yourself a seat at the table for Toowoomba’s Casino Night. This annual festival lets kids (and adults) experience artisan trades like blacksmithing, felting, wood turning and more.
